Industrial Designer

The Designer will work with the product design team as well as our ethnographic research and engineering teams to articulate user needs visually, and help create product platforms and systems that solve unmet user needs. You will work with a multi-disciplinary design team and engage on projects at the earliest stages and follow through to creating design solutions. You will participate in active research projects and help interpret the data as well as present findings to clients. You must have an interest and aptitude for solving technology and user problems and be adept at handling “big picture” issues. You must have an aptitude and skills in handling product and project details. We are looking for someone with a technical bent and the ability to systematic extend products into platforms. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential. The candidate for this position will have 1-3 years of product design experience. (Industrial Design degree) The ideal candidate will have had exposure to design research methods as well as usability and the design process.

The candidate must be personable and approachable, and have the ability to work with a variety of colleagues, clients, agencies, and client representatives.
