Design Meets Humanitarian Aid
Like most industrial design firms, we design products that satiate the needs and wants of consumers in developed countries. But this consumer group represents a mere ten percent of the world's population.

Worrell, Inc. wants to bring design solutions to the other 90 percent.

To do so, we’re currently redesigning a mobile theater for FilmAid International, a humanitarian aid organization that travels to refugee camps to show films that “promote health, strengthen communities, and enrich the lives of the world's vulnerable and uprooted.”

According to FilmAid International, there are more than 33 million refugees in the world. It is estimated that the average stay in a refugee camp is 17 years. Through our collaboration with FilmAid International, we’re using considered design to bring hope and education to those who need it most.
